Like many others I just wanted to say a very sincere thank you for the training and guidance you've given me over the last ten weeks. I think Maxis Solutions has found an excellent combination of customer service, industry experience and ability to communicate / teach the concepts involved.

I have always used computers with a substantial amount of fear and just enough knowledge to achieve the task at hand. Your training has given me a macro understanding of the framework of computers and so, how to save, store, find and effectively use information within them, and on the internet. And importantly how to problem solve.

Prior to beginning this couse I was very nervous about my ability to be at all helpful in an office environment, now I can happily say I feel confident that I am competent at the skills I setout to learn and applying them in the workforce. Once again thank you.....Sincerely, Stirling.  Bayview

Maxis Solutions is the real deal for professionals, mature age persons returning to the workplace and beginners. People have different needs and learn at different speed. Your training centre offers flexibility. A classroom environment can be intimidating. I appreciate the use of videos as a learning tool. The variety of typing programs is fun for kids and adults. I've been transformed from a clumsy 2 fingered jabber to a respectable 30+ words per minute (wpm) typist who can now use Excel with a degree of confidence.

I believe that most consumers are more sophisticated nowdays. They are wary of rip off artists who claim they can turn a beginner into a MYOB expert in 2 days. Pam, thank you for your patience and personal attention. Keep up the good work. Your are a natural teacher.

Computer Madness

Up until two years ago, I was computer illiterate. I would go to an Internet Cafe and ask the person next to me how to send an email. I didn't think I was capable of being able to use a computer effectively - I was scared of computers. Also, I have a couple of fingers missing on my right hand, which only reinforced my fear.  What I need was a computer saviour. That saviour came in the form of Pam Gum of Maxis Solutions.

Pam didn't rush me. She was very patient and understanding. Microsoft Word, Power Point, Email and internet were some of the modules I learnt.

Pam gives you one to one attention, and one feels special. Pam is a genuine and caring person, which came across very strongly when she was teaching me. In retrospect, I believe she was a Godsent. 

If you feel anxious around computers get in contact with Pam - she will alleviate all your fears and your might end up like me - a computer nut. 

I eventually bought my own computer and a whole new world has opened up to me. If I could learn how to use a computer, anyone can. Also, I'm not a young man anymore - I'm 63.
